Patient Services

When new patients come to see us we really roll out the Red Carpet! (Not that you can’t walk on it any time you come see us!) First, we conduct a thorough interview, recording all of your medical and dental history. We then answer all of your questions and discuss your concerns. Dr. Deneka will then conduct a thorough examination, checking the current state of your dental restorations and looking for any signs of oral cancer, TMJ, jaw problems, decay and periodontal (gum) disease. He will talk to you about any orthodontic concerns, or discuss treatment options for any missing or impacted teeth. Once your examination is complete, you will be provided with treatment recommendations and options. We believe in providing you with choices and we welcome your questions and comments.

We believe by following a pre-planned course, with each of us doing our part, you can look forward to a lifetime of good dental health and a pleasant association with our office.

Preventive Care Services

Preventive care is the foundation of good dental health. We consider hygiene treatment a top priority and our hygiene appointments are much more than a “typical” cleaning. Our hygienist will review your medical history, evaluate the health of your gums, and provide you with important “self-maintenance” tips to help you optimize your home care.

• Regular Checkups and Re-care Visits---the key to sustaining your dental health (especially after your initial treatment)

Restorative Services

When you come to us for restorative care, we take our time getting to know you, conducting a thorough exam, and asking lots of questions. Depending on your wishes, we can maximize your time and comfort by performing multiple procedures during a single visit.

Gum Disease

Current studies show that 70-90% of adults have some form of gum disease. Educating patients about how they can recognize and prevent gum disease is a top priority in our office. We will custom design a soft tissue management plan, emphasizing education and prevention, to suit your individual needs. With the assistance of Victor, a voice-activated computer charting system, our hygienists can show you the initial state of your gums as well as the improvement achieved with your treatment.
