Magnification in Dentistry
Magnification loupes increase visibility allowing us to accurately diagnose and treat small problems before they get big. Wearing a pair of dental loupes, Dr. Deneka can easily detect small areas of decay and hairline fractures not visible to the naked eye. Early detection and treatment will prevent you from needing extensive reconstructive work in the future.
Our hygienists also use magnification loupes so that they can see early changes in your gums and allow them to be more thorough during your hygiene visits. Magnification allows us to see much more detail, much the same as why many people want big screen televisions.
